Based on the essential needs and experience accumulated from years of study and work, on May 22, 2024, Caritas Dalat organized a training session on "meeting facilitation skills" at the hall of the Duc Trong Association of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), with the participation of 28 members from the Duc Trong Association of PWDs and 2 members from the Bao Lam Association of PWDs.

After the training session, Ms. Pham Thi Khanh  – Executive Committee Member of the Duc Trong District Association of PWDs shared: "The training session on meeting facilitation skills has left me with many positive emotions and excitement about developing new skills."

"The first thing I highly appreciated about the training session was the clear and concrete way the facilitators presented the content. You did not only introduce why meeting facilitation is important but also provided us with specific steps and techniques to implement this. This helped me better understand the crucial role of a facilitator and enables me to apply it to my daily work.

Secondly, I was very impressed with the practice sessions and group exercises during the training. We were divided into small groups to role-play meeting scenarios and apply the techniques we had learned. This helped me apply the knowledge practically and receive feedback from peers and facilitators.

Finally, the training session concluded with an open discussion on how to present an action plan for an upcoming meeting. This helped me realize the necessary steps and methods we need to take when facilitating a meeting and how to address challenges.

Overall, the meeting facilitation training session has provided me with valuable knowledge and practical skills that I can immediately apply to my daily work and within my organization. I believe that what I learned from this training will help me become a more effective meeting facilitator and contribute to the strong and sustainable development of the Duc Trong District Association of PWDs.
