Life is a gift from God.

Pope John Paul II in the Encyclical Evangelium vitae - The Gospel of Life, No. 1 said: “The GOOD NEWS OF LIFE is at the heart of Jesus' message. It is lovingly received by the Church every day. The Gospel of life must be courageously and faithfully proclaimed, as good news for people of all times and of all cultures."

Awareness that all life has priceless value, is given by God and must be respected, protected, promoted and served. At 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Thanh Mau Parish, Dalat Parish, 40 young people studying marriage catechism class participated in the lesson: Serving Life with the Billings Ovulation Method. Guided by Mr. Giuse Nguyen Anh Tuan, Ms. Matta Le Minh Ly (Billings Dalat Group) and Sr. Anna Tran Thi Hang, fmm (In charge of Life Protection Program - Caritas Dalat Office).

The objectives of the lesson are to help students: (1) Know the possibility of conception in the cycle, (2) Know how to observe and record the chart every night:  Distinguish the 4 periods in the cycle - Identify the Infertile Type (KTT Type) - Determine the Peak X date. (3) Understand Billings' Laws and know how to apply.

This method is recognized by the Church and is consistent with the Teachings of the Catholic Church.

For most of you, this is the first time you have heard about the Billings ovulation method. Therefore, you are very excited, listen attentively and hope to gain more knowledge and understand how to prepare for life, especially when entering married life.

We hope that through the lesson, students will be more aware: "Human life is sacred because from its very beginning, it includes "God's creative act" and is forever in a special relationship with the Creator, its only end. Only God is the Owner of life from its beginning to its end: no one, under any circumstances, can claim for themselves the right to directly destroy an innocent human being" (Evangelium vitae - The Gospel of Life, No. 53), so that when entering married life, couples show strong energy, respect, sympathy in love, and are responsible, ready to receive children in happiness and love.
