It is received by the Church every day with love, and is proclaimed with courageous fidelity as the Gospel for all people of all times and all cultures" (No. 1) (Excerpt from the speech during the general audience on the morning of Wednesday, March 25, 2020, Pope Francis)
In a spirit of communion and response to the Church's invitation. On Friday, March 10, 2023, the Diocesan Family Pastoral Department and the Caritas Dalat Life Protection Committee organized a study session on "Natural Methods of Regulating Fertility" (Billings Ovulation Method) at Tan Binh Parish, Bao Loc Parish.
Present on the training day were Father Giuse Dinh Quang Vinh, Head of the Diocesan Diocese's MV, Father Giuse Phan Dao Thuc, Head of the Bao Loc Diocese's MV, Sister Maria Goretti Dinh Thi Hong Phuc, Deputy Director of Caritas Dalat, Sr. Anna Tran Thi Hang fmm, Head of the SS - Caritas Dalat, Brothers and Sisters of the Billings Dalat Group and about 50 participants from a number of parishes in Bao Loc and Dalat Dioceses. Di Linh.
Through his oral testimony, Father Giuse Vinh sent to the participants very meaningful sentiments: "When we receive Baptism, we become children of God, as Christians, we must live and keep God's laws. We are also invited to follow the Church's path, to live in accordance with God's will... The Church emphasizes that teenagers of a certain age must learn about the Billings Ovulation Method, a method of birth control. nature... The Church also emphasizes that children must be taught in love and towards eternal life, not selfishness. Where will everything in this world go if we do not turn to God who is Eternal...?
At the same time, Father Giuse Thuc had words of encouragement, encouraging the spirit of willingness to share and learn from the members of the Billings Dalat group as well as the participants. With restlessness and enthusiasm, Father willingly and generously creates conditions for everyone to participate in learning comfortably and achieve results.
With witty, emotional and meaningful suggestions, the Fathers aroused the spirit of learning in each participant. The students entered the school day with an enthusiastic, positive and responsible spirit, with the hope of acquiring knowledge about the Billings Ovulation method such as: Charting the periods of the female reproductive cycle (1), periods and Billings' laws (2), writing charts (3),...
The school day passed so quickly, leaving everyone with many feelings: What a wonderful and "worthwhile" day, feeling courageous and confident to share with the young people, or wanting to continue learning more in the next courses and looking forward to the companionship of our parents. After a tiring day of learning, the participants left with much enthusiasm, wanting to collaborate in a small way in conveying the understanding and knowledge they learned to their children and grandchildren.
We hope that the spirit of learning will spread more to the Parishes in the Diocese family, so that each individual, family, Parish,... becomes more aware of their responsibility in respecting, protecting, promoting and serving life, "For each person, I will demand to account for the life of his brother." (Genesis 9:5)
