Caritas Dalat's 5-year journey serving at Trong Duc Social Welfare facility (male) is an important milestone in the field of serving people with mental health diseases. That journey has helped Caritas Dalat understand and have some experience in this field. With those fruits, starting today, Caritas Dalat officially collaborates with the women's facility, with the goal of improving the comprehensive quality of life for women here.

On March 4, 2022, Director Father Gioan Bosco Hoang Van Chinh and Ms. Tran Thi Hang - owner of the women's facility, signed a memorandum of cooperation. Today, March 7, 2022, Deputy Director Maria Goretti Dinh Thi Hong Phuc and two new employees came to visit the facility and patients to begin a series of long-term cooperation. In the near future, we will provide a number of therapeutic services for patients such as: organizing a library, listening to music, watching TV, making handmade products, reading prayers, practicing singing and teaching catechism, etc. In addition, Caritas staff will assist the facility with some other necessary tasks.

Serving brothers and sisters with mental health illnesses can sometimes be very complicated.
