The depression screening program and management model was received and implemented by Caritas Da Lat through the transfer from partner BasicNeeds Vietnam - a prestigious unit, currently a partner of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health of Vietnam in developing guidelines for mental health care in the community, including depression, anxiety, epilepsy and schizophrenia.

This event is also a community communication activity to further introduce depression and effective intervention methods in the community. At the same time, Caritas Da Lat identified Tung Nghia Parish and Duc Trong District Association of People with Disabilities as two pioneer units selected to pilot the depression screening and management model in the community in the near future.
