Feelings about Trong Duc Paper Flower Making Group

"It's very difficult, you can't do it" - A very loud voice from Ms. Nga with a toothbrush when she saw the Teacher introducing about handmade flowers and said he would guide them to try it. Looking at the sample flowers that the Teacher introduced, the sisters also seemed very hesitant to share: the flowers are so beautiful but they are so difficult, how can we make them? I told the sisters that I also came here to learn and make things with them. I've never tried it before and it's very clumsy, sometimes it's worse than the sisters. I'm okay at cooking, but I'm also very bad at making these crafts. Hearing that, the girls sitting near me just laughed, then said let's try it together.

The teacher taught us very young and enthusiastic, guiding us little by little, starting from how to fold paper, how to position our hands so that when we twist the paper, we create the most beautiful petal shape. At first, the sisters said they couldn't do it, but when the Teacher guided them, they were very enthusiastic to try it. One woman used too much force and tore the paper. Then she tried again. I sat next to her and didn't have time to cut the paper, so she kept asking for paper. Ms. Nga with her teeth shouted the loudest at first, saying she couldn't do it, but she proved to be very quick when learning to make flower petals and always did it very quickly. Always apologizing to the Teacher: “I'm done, Teacher, do you think it's beautiful?” The teacher reminded her to slow down and wait for everyone to finish together.

The women continued to work, and when the flower petals had gathered a small corner, looking back, the petals had become much more beautiful. After the girls completed the step of making flower petals, the Teacher instructed them to assemble the petals into flowers according to the number of petals from 3, 6 to 9 petals. The teacher also gives step-by-step instructions on how to tie the thread, arrange the petals, and how to separate the petals beautifully. The ladies were all very attentive to complete the steps. After grafting the flower petals, everyone admired their flowers. Everyone felt happy because they were finally able to make flowers that at first seemed impossible to make. The sisters did not forget to ask the Teacher and us: “Are your flowers beautiful? Are your flowers beautiful?” Looking at those flowers, we were all surprised and happily replied that they were very beautiful!

In the afternoon, the women made their own petals and grafted the leaves into a complete flower. At this time, my staff and I also practiced doing the same. The teacher even teased us that these students didn't know if they were as beautiful as their sisters. Our group of teaching assistants started trying it out, the sisters were also working alongside us. As a result, after we finished working together, the flowers of the three of us teaching assistants were not as beautiful as the flowers the ladies made. Then the sisters comforted us by saying that just do it a lot until you get used to it and it will be beautiful. We looked at each other and smiled, promising to try to be more beautiful next time.

Two days of paper flower making classes ended and the flower making group was formed. Seeing that all the women were enthusiastic and wanted to make beautiful flowers to sell. We all feel very happy because this class has helped you do things you thought were impossible. We further hope that your flower making group will have beautiful flower designs to sell to customers as your wishes.
