In that spirit, on March 9, Caritas Dalat set out again to continue its media journey to prevent human trafficking. Carrying a lot of hot news, we went to Da Nhinh 2 village, Da Tong commune, Dam Rong district - a countryside with many hardships but filled with human love.

The precious thing is that even though most people have not heard much about human trafficking, and don't think it has anything to do with their current lives, they still took the time to attend with the desire to learn more useful information. More than 100 people, from the elderly, mothers to children, gathered, filling the space both inside and outside the chapel. The mothers happily welcomed us with a fun opening activity and traditional dances imbued with indigenous culture.

Every time we communicate about human trafficking, we feel sad because what we convey is not faith or good things but the dark sides full of pitfalls of society. There were moments of silence during the media session when heartbreaking images appeared and painful stories gradually crept into the listeners' eyes. Children are innocently surprised, adults are stunned, unable to believe that among humans, there are those who are willing to push their fellow human beings to the end just for personal gain. When hearing about those stories, not everyone can immediately understand the scale and complexity of this problem – a sophisticated, transnational network, where “innocent victims” are turned into “helpers, predators, and scammers”, and then the victims themselves have to throw away their humanity, love for their countrymen, and even family love to achieve something called "target for the month".

With limited time, we try our best to impart the necessary knowledge by integrating a lot of current news, simulation documentaries, review games and group practice summaries. Hopefully people can increase their vigilance and when danger comes, they can identify and escape the traps.

The media session ended but the worry is still there, because the plots are increasingly cunning, when the pitiful faces may just be the cover of a predator, how can we still maintain faith in kindness? When doubt creeps into every action, will love still have a place or will we be indifferent to everything that happens?

However, amidst the dark colors, we still feel lucky because we can still protect ourselves and help each other. And on this journey, we believe that God is still watching and preserving each step of each person. We hope that compassion will shine strongly, awaken conscience and promote conversion, where the cries of victims will no longer echo in injustice, and we can all feel more secure when living in the heart of this world.
