"Learning Promotion Program" Da Lat Diocese

Dear Benefactors,

The 2023 -2024 school year is about to begin in preparation for the usual opening ceremony in early September. The students are gradually settling into school and today we would like to share about the results  they  achieved  in the 2022-2023 school year and the activities of the study promotion program in the new school year.

First of all, I would like to report on the results of the last school year (2022-2023), the "study promotion program" helped 840 children from the first year to the seventh year (from kindergarten to the end of grade 5).

According to year-end summaries sent by parishes and communities collaborating with the program, we would like to report the students' learning results as follows:

About culture: 3.59% excellent, 14.0 % good, 27.15 % good, 49.76% average, 1.44% Healthy and good children 1.2% weak, 1.91% completed, 0.12 % incomplete. 0.83 % did not report. In general, the students' academic achievements this year have also shown some very encouraging  progress.

In terms of ethics: 73.68% good, 24.76% good, 0.72%, average, weak, 0.84% ​​not reported.

In total, 818 students went to class, achieving 97.85%. 8 children were absent from school, a rate of 0.96%. Stay in class, retake the exam for 10 students, rate of  1.2%

In the list for the 2023- 2024 school year, some students who have finished elementary school can replace other students and  this year  the total number of students receiving help from the “Study Promotion Program” is 836  students.

On this occasion, we would also like to send a thank you letter written by one of the students in the program to our benefactors to express our gratitude as well as our own feelings (please attach the letter).

We would like to sincerely thank our benefactors for their willingness to respond and collaborate in missionary work, especially in improving the lives of ethnic people in this beloved Highlands region.
