Find Inspiration From Caritas Dalat's PLD Summary Workshop

Dịch Covid 19 kéo dài làm ảnh hưởng rất lớn đến đời sống kinh tế, xã hội. Khi toàn xã hội phải cách ly, mọi người đều không thể làm việc. Đây là cơ hội cho con người nghỉ ngơi, nhưng nghỉ quá lâu đã làm cho con người trở nên ươn lười, uể oải. Khi nhà nước mở cửa, người ta phải tìm cảm hứng mới để khôi phục lại tinh thần làm việc của mình. Tôi cũng không tránh khỏi hậu quả này, khi bắt đầu đi lam lại, tôi cảm thấy không hứng thú và thiếu sự sáng tạo trong công việc. Tôi thấy mình cần vực dậy tinh thần làm việc để có thể dấn thân sâu hơn trong công việc phục vụ người nghèo.

“Buồn ngủ gặp được chiếu manh”, ngay lúc này Caritas Đà lạt tổ chức Tổng kết Chương trình phát triển tự dân với phương thức trực tuyến và trực tiếp theo cụm. Khi nhận lời mời này, tôi phân vân không biết có nên tham gia trực tiếp không? Hay là tham dự online thôi? Nhưng tôi biết bản thân đang cần tìm nguồn cảm hứng cho công việc. Để có được những cảm hứng đó thì tốt nhất tôi nên tham gia trực tiếp để có thể gặp gỡ, trao đổi sâu hơi với nhân viên Carrias Đà lạt.

On the afternoon of February 15, present at Dinh Trang Hoa cluster, I had the opportunity to directly meet farmers of 4 communities in Loc Tan and Dinh Trang Hoa. On February 16, at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, I was immersed in the cool atmosphere of Dalat. Here, the program has connected online with people at different project sites in Dalat so that even if they do not meet in person, they can still share work with each other, learn together and encourage each other.

After 2 days of attending, there were 2 things that surprised me: Caritas Dalat's adaptation in the epidemic situation and the amount of work that Caritas did during the epidemic. During the epidemic situation, although we cannot meet each other directly, Caritas Dalat still continues to work, because they have promptly updated the media to use in learning and exchanging with each other.Thanks to that, they have organized prayer meetings, forums and online trainings, even participated in an online project writing contest, and today they used the Zoom application to organize a summary workshop in both online and in-person formats so that farmers can attend the summary without having to travel. Although there were sometimes a bit of technical problems, to me, they used these means fluently. Thanks to that, the Summary Conference went well. It must be said that this is the steely spirit of Caritas Dalat staff when working in an epidemic situation.

Khi nghe các cụm báo cáo về công việc đã làm trong năm qua, tôi hết sức khâm phục Caritas Đà lạt. Thì ra trong khi tôi cũng như nhiều người đang chơi không ở nhà thì nhân viên Caritas Đà Lạt vẫn làm việc không ngơi nghỉ, có chăng họ chỉ giảm đi những lần đi cộng đồng thôi,nhưng thay vào đó là những khóa học online để tăng năng lực cho nhân viên. Nhờ vậy, năng lực của nhân viên cũng như của bà con được nâng cao rất nhiều. Cụ thể, nhân viên đã biết cách quảng bá sản phẩm, thiết kế bao bì cho sản phẩm, biết bán hàng online…

All of this touches me, it inspires me, it invites me not to sit still anymore but to shake hands and commit even more deeply to the work of serving the poor of Caritas Long Xuyen.
